Happy Birthday Paris Jackson

 Happy Birthday Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson  celebrates her 19th birthday on April 3, and her birthday weekend, starting on March 31, has included a memory of her father, Michael Jackson.
The weekend before Paris Jackson’s birthday, she got the celebration started a little bit early by going to get matching tattoos with her brother, Prince Jackson, on March 26.

With age typically comes confidence. As we grow older, the less we care about what other people think, and the more excited we are to just be ourselves. Even though it's Paris Jackson's 19th birthday, she didn't need turning another year older to help her feel secure. In fact, Paris kicked off her birthday weekend by clapping back at a troll who — very unnecessarily — pointed out that he thinks Paris gained weight. Well, Paris is here to let us all know that she did gain weight, and who cares?
Paris posted pictures of herself at two red carpets over the weekend, and the particular troll in question responded to her posts by saying, "yes you have out [sic] on a little weight." We'll assume the troll meant to say "put." While her weight is most definitely no one's business, Paris tweeted back that she actually has gained weight, and from the sounds of it she's proud. "F*** yeah I have," Paris replied.

Reminder: No one should be commenting on Paris' weight in the first place because it's not their concern. But since someone did, Paris' reply shows that gaining weight is not something to be ashamed of. Typically, people comment on others gaining weight as something negative, and congratulate people for losing weight. But as humans our bodies grow and change, gaining and shedding pounds throughout the years. That's totally OK. Lena Dunham summed that up pretty well in an Instagram post.

"I've accepted that my body is an ever changing organism, not a fixed entity- what goes up must come down and vice versa," she said.

Paris's response means she's likely on the same page. Gaining weight shouldn't be shameful, so if someone points out that you have, there's no reason to be ashamed or deny it.
